Internal Family Systems (IFS)?

IFS is a therapeutic approach that explores the inner parts and emotions of individuals. As individuals, each of us has an internal family similar to the one depicted in Disney Pixar's movie, Inside Out. Our different parts or emotions are at times in harmony and other times in conflict. For example, there may be a part of you that wants to go to work out, and another part of you that wants to lay on the couch and watch TV. Or there may be a part of you that loves your partner, and another part of you that is really angry at them. In IFS, we learn about our internal parts, protectors, and character roles, and then establish a trusting relationship with ourselves and our reactions and emotions.

You will learn a combination of practices that promote present-oriented, nonjudgemental attitude, called “mindfulness.”
